Growing up, Paige Radke enjoyed solving problems.
“I liked puzzle games and trying to figure out how everything falls into place,” Paige recalls.
That pursuit stayed with her through Dominican High School, in Whitefish Bay, where Paige tutored math, among other activities. She tutored in college too, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in economics and Spanish.
While puzzling what to do out of college, Paige got accepted into UW-Milwaukee’s Investment Management Certificate Program.
“I sat down with my advisor and emphasized that I really wanted to do something that was social and helpful,” Paige says. “I didn’t want to just make a bunch of money and sit behind a desk with my headphones on.”
That’s when Paige started as an intern at Landaas & Company, while completing her training at UWM. Everything, it appears, has fallen into place.
“I like client interaction,” Paige says. “I like that I actually get to talk to people. I’m not selling anything to them. I’m talking to them, hearing what they have to say and trying to solve their problems.”
Paige has a master’s degree in finance analysis from UW-Milwaukee. She lives in Milwaukee and enjoys reading, snowboarding, walking along Milwaukee’s waterways and spending time with her family.
