When she moved to Milwaukee, Zoë Shanaver sought a way to get to know the city as well as people who live there. That’s how she wound up as co-organizer of Girls Who Walk Milwaukee, a community group arranging occasional strolls and other social events to connect women with the city and one another.
Connections energize Zoë.
“I’m passionate about making connections with people and serving them however and whatever they need,” Zoë says.
She worked her way through college serving in restaurants and describes the serotonin rush she feels when she’s able to fulfill a customer’s needs – especially if the customer seems confused or stressed to begin with. “It brings me so much joy to be able to help that person,” Zoë says.
Zoë’s work at Landaas & Company allows her to form and deepen personal connections while scratching her itch for working with numbers.
Zoë earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has taken up running and is a lifelong dancer. She grew up in Paddock Lake, Wis.
