In her first 10 years at Landaas & Company, life happened to Zayda Randolph. She got married. She had a baby. She had another baby. And when she had her third baby—giving her and her husband three daughters younger than 6, Zayda decided to spend more time at home.
Sixteen years later, Zayda’s oldest and youngest daughters are helping her husband, Keith, run the family business. Her middle daughter is in the Navy. And Zayda is back at Landaas & Company.
The Landaas family has grown in Zayda’s absence. The office space has expanded. Investments managed by the firm have more than tripled.
Still, Zayda observes, it’s the same place.
“It’s definitely the same teamwork, the family, the atmosphere. Everybody is willing to work together, and they all have a goal,” Zayda says. “They’re here to help you. Everybody is willing to pitch in.”
Zayda says she sees a sense of focus and ethics consistent with when she worked previously at Landaas & Company.
“I’ve told Bob he’s always surrounded himself with good people,” Zayda says. “And if you surround yourself with good people, only good things can happen.”
Zayda lives in Racine, where she enjoys being active outdoors and spending time with her family, including her two grandsons.
