2014 Landaas & Company interns

PRadke.PTran

Landaas & Company is employing college interns again this summer to support its professional staff. We view internships as a way to help educate individuals who might be interested in pursuing careers in investment advising. We also use the opportunity to expose students to the rigor and customer service of our practice.

Joining Landaas & Company this summer:

Paul Tran

Paul is a junior in the College of Business Administration at Marquette University, where he is majoring in finance and accounting.

Paul is vice president of the Financial Management Association, an on-campus organization dedicated to helping students learn more about the finance industry and network with finance professionals. Paul is also active in the campus investment club, which manages a portfolio of ETFs.

“I enjoy the field of finance because it allows me to learn something new every time I talk to someone, read an article or watch the news,” Paul says. “At Landaas & Company, I am surrounded by incredibly gifted professionals I can work with and learn from every day.”

Paul grew up in Fishers, Indiana. He graduated from Indianapolis Cathedral High School, where he played varsity baseball. At Marquette, Paul tutors students in accounting and biology for non-science majors. He also tutors high school students in a variety of subjects. Paul likes to relax by playing the guitar, reading and working out.

Paige Radke

Paige is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, studying finance analysis and working toward a Certificate in Investment Management through a rigorous 17-month program. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics and Spanish from UW-Madison.

Paige was born and raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Dominican High School, where she was active in a student investment club, tutored math and played soccer.

In college, Paige also was involved in an investment club and tutored math, economics and Spanish.

“Tutoring helped foster my desire to dive into the world of investments, while helping people at the same time,” Paige says.

In her free time, Paige enjoys reading, painting, spending time with her family and following current events. She has been skiing and snowboarding since she was 2.

Paige says she wants to apply her knowledge of economics to investing and asset allocation.

“Since people can have very different investment goals and time horizons, I am excited to learn the ways investment portfolios differ, depending on circumstances,” Paige says.  “I am honored with the opportunity to foster my learning and, hopefully, add value to Landaas & Company in the process.”
