2015 Investment Outlook Seminar
Marking his 40th year in the financial industry, Bob Landaas addressed nearly 1,000 clients at Landaas & Company’s annual investment outlook seminars.
Bob reviewed data and trends that he sees influencing investment portfolios. He covered such developments as the economic slowdown in China, the Federal Reserve Board’s reluctance to normalize short-term interest rates and the continued moderate growth in the U.S. economy. He also discussed the two driving forces of long-term investment results – interest rates and corporate earnings – and near-term prospects for stocks and bonds.
The seminars – Sept. 16 and 29 at the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha, Wis. – included presentations by Isabelle Denton, who spoke about how investors can benefit from corporate cash, and Kyle Tetting, talking about strategies for choosing mutual fund managers.
