Chief Financial Officer
Bryan Becker credits his father as a big influence on his financial career. He recalls his father teaching him the alphabet as “A-B-C-D-E-F-Hutton.”
“He was a banker for nearly 40 years,” Bryan says, “He had that financial mindset: Save, invest, be smart with your money. I’ve always had that with me.”
Bryan worked at a financial data company when he was a teenager. After college, he joined the Milwaukee office of Ernst & Young, where he specialized in financial institutions. Bryan was later hired as controller at Artisan Partners, a Milwaukee-based investment management firm, which Bryan helped grow into a publicly traded global company.
Then Bryan sought a smaller, independent financial business where everybody knows what everyone else is doing and the common focus is on the customer.
“One of the things that drew me to Landaas was that family atmosphere,” Bryan says. “We’re also helping people. We’re helping families better their lives. That, to me, brings a lot more personal reward to it. You’re really building something together over time.”
Bryan is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He and his wife, Jessica, live with their three children in Menomonee Falls. Bryan loves to learn and read. He is an avid Wisconsin sports fan who enjoys participating in and coaching athletics. Bryan devotes much of his free time to his family, especially in outdoor activities and traveling.
