Before becoming an investment professional, Wendy Citko had careers as an airline flight attendant and as a police officer. She had wanted to travel since childhood, and after a few years of seeing the world for a living, Wendy followed the footsteps of her father, a retired police officer. Both lines of work exposed Wendy to a wide variety of individuals in a multitude of circumstances. She developed an appreciation for the complexities of people’s needs as well as the skills for assisting others.
“I like interacting with people,” Wendy says. “It’s fun to get to know people. And if you have clients in long-term relationships, they become friends in a way.”
In 2013, after nearly a decade in financial services, Wendy suited her skills to individual investors at Landaas & Company. She says she was drawn by a family-like environment with professional opportunities – and continued exposure to customers.
“I enjoy helping people,” she says.
Wendy lives in Greenfield. She enjoys playing golf, working out, fashion and spending time with friends.
