Kristi Bobberregistered representative, associate, working with investment advisors Steve Giles and Ron Hansen |
Kristi Bobber worked 12 years in animal shelters, six as a supervisor. But her long work hours became difficult with the birth of her daughter and a husband who traveled frequently.
So Kristi sought the more predictable hours of an office setting.
She came to Landaas & Company in 2008 as a back-up receptionist and quickly took on other responsibilities in production, human resources and information services. After a year, Bob Landaas asked Kristi to become an associate, where her working knowledge of the office’s operations has come together.
“I know what all these transactions mean, where they come from, how they happen,” Kristi says. “It’s completing a picture for me.”
Kristi has a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in biology and pre-veterinary medicine. She is licensed as a registered representative.
Kristi and her husband, Mark, have one daughter and one son. They enjoy the company of two feline companions as well.

Lisa Edgarreceptionist |
If Lisa Edgar seems familiar, maybe you’ve seen her behind her banjo singing with her band, Razzmatazz. Or maybe it’s because she began working in the same building as Landaas & Company in 1993, running the Midwest Espresso coffee cart with her partner (now husband), Max.
Lisa began singing and playing banjo at pizza parlors while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Milwaukee.
After a stint with the USO entertaining American troops in Japan, South Korea, Guam and the Philippines, Lisa spent six years with The Lean ‘N’ Tender All Meat Band, representing a Milwaukee meatpacker.
Besides writing and recording commercial jingles, she performed coast-to-coast at venues including The Queen Mary, in Long Beach, Calif., the Washington, D.C., Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and aboard Wisconsin’s own Great Circus Train.
Lisa calculates her travel mileage at “thousands and thousands and thousands,” which has made her pretty good at giving directions.
“When people call up and they’re lost, I’m the best person to talk to here,” Lisa says.
Lisa found her way to Landaas & Company in 2008.
At first, Lexie Kobin considered pursuing sociology in college because she was intrigued by how people function and why. But she also liked dealing with numbers and problem solving.
So Lexie earned a degree in personal finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, figuring that would allow her to both interact with people and assist them.
For her first couple of years out of college, Lexie worked at an Appleton office of a national financial firm. Then she got hired by a big bank in Milwaukee.
Lexie came to Landaas & Company in 2009 to advance her career. She arrived with credentials, experience and a soft heart for clients.
“I’m pretty lucky because I get to talk with some pretty great people and help them accomplish their goals,” Lexie says. “And in the process, I’m learning new things daily.”
Lexie grew up in Appleton and has one son. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to movies and learning to cook.

Lisa Lewitzkeregistered representative, registered paraplanner, works with investment advisor Art Rothschild |
When she was a student at Greenfield High School, Lisa Lewitzke got introduced to financial services through a career exploration program. She worked as a part-time bank teller while still in school. Since then, her head for finance and zeal for customer service have propelled her to advanced positions in investment banking and retirement counseling.
With more than 15 years in financial services, Lisa’s chief focus has been on serving customers. She saw that Landaas & Company shared that value and joined the firm in 2004.
“The unbiased approach here is good because you know you’re doing right by the client,” Lisa says. “The most important thing for me is the ongoing relationship we have with our clients. It’s important that we help people feel safe about their financial situation and that they can trust us.”
Lisa and her husband, Scott, have two sons and volunteer with the United Cerebral Palsy. Lisa also enjoys running, biking and cooking.
Debi Rybicki began her career in financial services after graduating from college. She earned licenses as a registered representative and commodities broker and worked at a large Milwaukee-based brokerage firm for a number of years.
Debi left the firm to raise her two sons. During that time, she also owned and operated a small business.
Debi re-entered the workforce doing bookkeeping for a business owner who happened to be a client of Landaas & Company. After the business sold, the client recommended Debi to Bob Landaas, who was looking for an experienced associate. Debi joined Landaas & Company in 2003 and earned her license for a second time as a registered representative.
Debi says she has particularly appreciated her direct involvement with clients:
“Landaas and Company is so client-oriented, so service-oriented, and so different from my previous brokerage experience.”
Debi grew up in Alpena, Michigan, and has enjoyed living in the Milwaukee area since graduating from high school. She and her husband, Ray, have six children between them.
Outside of work and her family, Debi enjoys golf, travel, scrapbooking and cooking.

Diana Sarandos parlayed a degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison into a position at the state Department of Commerce. After two years of working in economic development assistance for small minority-owned businesses, she ventured into the financial services industry.
At first, Diana worked at a call center for the brokerage arm of a big bank. Then she attained the necessary licensing to assist two investment advisors at a large brokerage.
In 2004, Diana brought her experience and interests to Landaas & Company, where she says she values teamwork and the ability to contribute to a greater cause.
“I most like the customer interaction,” Diana says. “But I also like the behind-the-scenes work.”
Diana grew up in Brookfield. She and her husband, Michael, have two sons. In addition to family and work, Diana enjoys running, cooking and charity work.
At Landaas & Company, Kristina Schnuckel has found a place to satisfy her intellectual curiosity while helping other people.
Since 2007, she has worked closely with Bob Landaas and his clients as a member of his team. In 2011, through coursework, testing and experience, Kristina became designated as a Certified Financial Planner. What she loves most about her job, she says, is the ability to set her clients’ minds at ease.
“That is one of the reasons I pushed myself to earn this designation,” Kristina says. “The CFP designation process provided me with a well-rounded education, covering everything from retirement and estate planning to tax efficiency with investments. It allows me to give our clients that next level of great service.”
Kristina graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with honors and worked at a local accounting firm before coming to Landaas & Company. A native of Waukesha, Kristina now lives in Pewaukee with her husband and young son. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and travel.

Besides the pace and variety of her work, Linda relishes her interactions with clients, with whom relationships extend beyond transactions and include sharing life events, from births to funerals.
