"We pride ourselves in our ability to provide objective and unbiased investment advice."
Our History

Bob Landaas began his career in the financial industry in 1975.  Together with a few of his colleagues, he formed First Securities in 1981 which was located in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  Bob decided to relocate to downtown Milwaukee in late 1986 and establish what is today known as Landaas & Company.  In 1980, Bob was asked to be a guest of the popular morning radio show Ask the Expert.  In 1987 he began to host Money Talk, on Saturday mornings, which ran successfully until early 2006.  On September 18, 1992 Bob began co-hosting the investment program Dollar Signs on PBS which aired on many markets around the U.S. and was seen locally on Channel 10.  The show was ultimately underwritten by Morningstar.  Landaas & Company became a broker/dealer in November of 1999, registered with the NASD.

In just over 20 years, Landaas & Company has grown from a small group of only three people into a well known and respected financial institution.  In addition to experienced investment managers, our advisors represent a broad educational background which includes advanced degrees in economics, business, finance, accounting and law.  We pride ourselves in our exemplary support staff of associates, the majority of whom are Series 7 licensed registered representatives and also have advanced securities education.  Throughout our company’s history and Bob’s career, our goal has always been to provide objective, unbiased investment advice.  Despite our growth, we remain a company where you are always able to speak personally with someone with any questions or concerns you may have.  Landaas & Company currently manages and oversees assets totaling almost $2 billion.
